Deotala

Deotala is a town in Malda District, near South Dinajpur District border, in West Bengal. It is approximately 25 km north of Pandua. Bansihari, Daulatpur and Gajol are the other nearby places.

This place was made famous by Shaikh Jalaluddin Tabrizi, a famous saint born at Tabriz in Iran, who had come to this place during the early period of Muslim rule.

The nearest airport and railway station are Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Malda Town Railway Station respectively.
