Deopahar or Deoparbat Ruins are situated about 5 km from Numaligarh in
Golaghat District of
Assam, near
Kaziranga National Park. It is the great archeological remains of an ancient temple, with statues scattered on a hill top. To climb up the hill is really exhausting, especially on a hot day. But one can get a clear view of Numaligarh tea estate and nearby Karbi Anglong hills and forests from here.
