Deogaon is a small town in
Azamgarh District. It lies to the south of
Azamgarh and about 15 km from Thekman.
About 20 km north of Deogaon is the historical place of Mehnagar, which is famous for its ancient fort and an annual religious fair held on the ponds known as Madilaha. Senapur, Kerakat and Bardah are its other neighboring places.
Dullahapur Railway Station, on the Varanasi-Mau rail route, in Ghazipur District, is the major railway access. Varanasi Airport is about 46 km from here.
