Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College was established in 1990 in memory of Late Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya. The college houses more than 1,500 students in various courses of science, humanities and commerce. It has various departments such as Computer Science Department, Mathematics Department, Chemistry Department, Physics and Electronics Department, Botany Department, Zoology Department and Library Department. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College boasts a well equipped library with a collection of more than 22,000 volumes and well-outfitted laboratories for Computer, Electronics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. The college also provides facilities for various indoor and outdoor games. The seminar room of the college can accommodate 130 people with facilities including LCD projector, audio and visual aids. Elections for the student’s union are held every year. For unfolding the potentialities of the students and cultivating extra curricular interest, the college publishes a magazine known as “Reflections” which contains essays, articles, stories and poems written by both teachers and students. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is considered as a pioneer co-educational institution in the country.
