Datiya is located about 10 km west of
Mathura in
Uttar Pradesh. The place is associated with
Lord Krishna and devotees believe that the lord met his father Nanda here.
Folklore has it that Datiya is the place where Krishna killed a demon named Dantavakra. The famous Santanu Kunda is only 3 km from here.
