Darrah




Darrah is a small village situated near the border of the districts Chittorgarh and Kota. It lies in the Chittorgarh District of Rajasthan. Baroli, famous for beautiful temple complexes, is situated just a few kilometers away from this desert land. Darrah Sanctuary is a major tourist attraction situated here.

Rana Pratap Sagar Dam, constructed across the river Chambal, is a nearby picnic spot.

Chittorgarh has an abundance of interesting tourist options which include Vijay Stambh, Chittorgarh Fort, Padmini's Palace and Palace of Rana Kumbha.

Rajasthan Atomic Power Station can be easily accessed from here. The industrial town of Kota is about 50 km away.

The state highway links this place with the surrounding towns. Kota Airport and Kota Junction Railway Station are the nearest airport and railhead respectively.
