Dargah of Sayeed Zain-ud-din is a famous mausoleum located at
Khuldabad in
Aurangabad District of
Maharashtra. This splendid tomb is dedicated to Sufi Saint Sayeed Zain-ud-din.
The tomb has a quadrangle structure, which separates the tomb of Aurangzeb from those of his wife and second son, Azam Shah. A series of steps encrusted with semi precious stones leads to it. The 'Robe of the Prophet’, a well-preserved relic, is worth a view.
The tomb is disclosed to the public once in a year on the twelfth day of Rabi-ul-Awwal, the third month of Islamic calendar. Numerous Muslims gather here on this day to pay rich tribute to the saint.
Khuldabad is a sacred walled town situated 22 km from Aurangabad. The nearest railhead is Aurangabad Railway Station.
