Dargah of Sayeed Burhan-ud-din is situated at
Khuldabad in
Aurangabad District,
Maharashtra. Built in 1334, it is believed to be a repository of hair from the Prophet’s Beard, which increases in numbers every year.
It is said there was a pair of silver trees in its central courtyard.
The tomb has panels which are set into the doors of the shrine. There are two innocuous-looking lumps in the pavement nearby where the fabled trees once stood.
