Dareng River




Dareng or Nitai River flows through the West Garo Hills District in Meghalaya. This river originates from the southern side of the Nokrek Mountain. Flowing southwards, later it enters Bangladesh.

Warima, Rong’ang and Bamon are some of the famous pools in this river, in which Bamon is the deepest. The tributaries of Dareng are Kakija, Daji and Rompa.
