Darekasa is located in Gondiya District of Maharashtra and lies near the district’s border with Chhattisgarh. It is about 55 km south-east of Gondiya, the district headquarters. Some natural caves can be seen in the area.
Sonegaon Airport and Raipur Airport are the nearest airports. Darekasa Railway Station is on the Gondia – Durg rail route.
