Dandeshwar Temple

Dandeshwar Temple, a Nagara Style of temple, is one of the prime sites in Jageshwar, a pilgrim town located 65 km from Binsar. Lord Shiva is the main deity in this temple. An 18th century image of dancing Shiva and a massive iron bell at the gateway are the main attractions of this temple. The bell is believed to be the link between local deity, Golu and Lord Shiva. Chithai Temple - a shrine dedicated to Golu - is nearby.
