Dakshin Restaurant




Dakshin Restaurant is located in Begumpet in Hyderabad district of Andhra Pradesh. It offers South Indian cuisine along with Andhra dishes. Among the menu, Appam, which is made of rice flour, and stew is the most popular one.

The interiors of Dakshin are decorated stylishly and things that add color to it are the paintings, pillars, and the cutlery.

The main course offered by Dakshin are the majiga pulusu which is buttermilk gravy, the kodi molagu or pepper chicken, the Kai stew with fresh vegetables, the Meen Moilie which is cubes of fish cooked in coconut milk, the Royyala Iguru which is prawns in a thick gravy. All these go great with coconut or tamarind rice, or with the Malabar Parotha. Seafood specialties include lobster known by the name Kylara Thokku.

Yellaneer Payasam, Pradhaman, Basundi, Badam Halwa and other southern sweets are among the dessert menu.
