Established by the Modern Education Society in 1952, D G Ruparel College of Arts, Science and Commerce imparts standard graduation and post graduation courses in Arts, Science and Commerce. Various vocational courses are also conducted. Special emphasis is given to extra-curricular activities.
The college has all the necessary infrastructural facilities. The class rooms are provided with modern audio-visual aids including TV, VCR, over head projectors, slide projector, film projectors and audio-video tapes. Other facilities available in the campus are library, auditorium, and a computer center.
