The Honorary Consulate of China, the official representation of China in India, is located at
Nariman Point in
Mumbai. The consulate has been set up to serve the need of Chinese citizens residing or in transit in western India and to ensure their overall security and welfare whilst in the country.
Consulate’s services include issuing emergency passports and immigrant and non-immigrant visas, notarization and attestation, offering consultancy services for commercial ventures, representing its citizens while talking to local authorities, offering them assistance in case of emergencies and purveying necessary tourist and local information for the needy.
Operating Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00 hrs to 12:30 hrs and 15:00 hrs to 17:30 hrs.
Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is about 30 km to the north.
