College of Co-operation Banking and Management (CCBM) was established in 1981, as a constituent college of the
Kerala Agricultural University. It imparts training in the field of co-operation, banking and management. The college undertakes teaching, research and extension programs in areas relevant and beneficial to co-operative organizations, banks, commodity boards and agri-business enterprises.
CCBM offers a four-year professional degree course in co-operation and banking (BSc in CB&M). The course is designed with many unique features to match the demands of the potential employers in a dynamic environment. Besides BSc (CB&M) program, the curriculum includes three post-graduate courses in rural banking and finance management, rural marketing management and co-operative management as well as a PhD program in rural marketing management.
The college has around 23 staff members as regular faculty serving in four statutory departments including co-operative management, rural banking and finance management, rural marketing management, and development economics. Separate hostels with student-run mess are available for boys and girls.
CCBM is recognized as a prime resource center by several national level organizations for conducting their training programs and workshops. The college is situated at Vellanikkara in Thrissur District, on the National Highway 47. Thrissur Railway Station is around 15 km away.
