College of Agriculture, situated at Padannakkad in
Kasargod District, imparts training in the field of agriculture. The institution was founded in the year 1994 as the third agricultural college under the faculty of agriculture of the
Kerala Agricultural University.
Currently the college offers only bachelor's degree program (BSc) in agriculture. The annual intake capacity of students is 37. The college follows semester system of education.
For the effective transfer of technology, the college accomplishes certain specific extension activities such as agro-clinics and village adoption programs. Agricultural entrepreneurship development training is also given to the students. The college houses a library, which provides textbooks, reference books and important periodicals in all subjects taught in the college.
The college is around 1 km north of Nileshwar and 9 km south of Kanhangad, on the side of National Highway 17.
