Cinema Ghar is a unique, unconventional and non commercial museum built amidst the excellent scenery of rocky terrain in
Banjara Hills of
Hyderabad. This huge building, a jewel in the crown of Hyderabad, is the storehouse of
M F Husain's old and new works.
Cinema Ghar houses a 50 seat cinema theater equipped with Dolby sound and DTS system, library of about 2,000 books on art, cinema, music, dance, computer, science and technology, exhibition hall to accommodate large works of art and installation and a cafeteria next to waterfall. Cinema Ghar is open to the public from 11:00 to 19:00 hrs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The nearby attractions include Golconda Fort, Hyderabad Botanical Garden, Sanjeevaiah Park and Paigah Tombs.
