Chapel of Our Lady of the Mount in
Old Goa is situated on a hill located about 4 km from the main road towards
Ponda. There are neat stone steps that lead up to the top, from where the visitors can command a splendid view of the surrounding great churches as well as the natural beauty all around. There are three main altars in the chapel dedicated to Our Lady of the Mount, St Anthony, and St Andrew respectively. Several acts of Our Lady’s life are depicted on the walls of main altar.
