Church of Our Lady of Remedies, one of the ancient churches in India, is located at the picturesque town of Nerul in
North Goa District. This church reflects the history of Christianity in
Goa. Built in 1569, the church is constructed in an antique architectural style. Believed to have been constructed by the Franciscan Order, Church of Our Lady of Remedies is of archaeological importance also. Some old paintings on the walls and wooden panels provide an extra ordinary elegance to the church.
