Church of Martin De Porres is located in Belvai, 45 km from
Mangalore in
Karnataka. Church of Martin De Porres was part of the Moodbidri-Alangar church initially. Although a chapel was built in April 1969, the Church was raised to the status of a parish only in June 1971. There are seven parish wards. The construction of the new building of the Church and presbytery started in the year 2002. The Church has its own cemetery.
