Chudasama community resides in 52 small villages and towns in eastern
Saurashtra region of
Gujarat. They regard themselves as descendants of the Chandravams, and are believed to have broken away from the larger clan, Jadeja. An ancient prince named Gajpat is known as the originator of this Rajput clan.
The Chudasama
Rajputs played an important role in the history of Gujarat. Major occupations are farming and land ownership. Even though they did not rule any Kingdom, they were powerful allies to other major Rajput kings around them.
Dhandhuka, Bhadiyad, Kadipur, Dholera, Unchdi, Cher, Aniyari, Kadipur, Parabdi, Rojka, and Danf are their major towns and villages.
