Sarangagarh

Chudangagarh, otherwise called Sarangagarh, was built by Chodagandadeva of the Ganga Dynasty. Remains of fort walls, step wells, dilapidated temples, tanks, granary house, watch towers and a ruined palace containing sixteen rooms called Solapura Uasa are the main attractions within the fortified area. Chudangagarh is now a protected monument of the Archeological Survey of India.

Chudangagarh is located near the Barang railway station and is 8 km southwest of Cuttack City. Barang is connected with Bhubaneswar by road (20 km) via Patia.
