Chozhikkara Sree Mahadeva Temple

Chozhikkara Sree Mahadev Temple is located at Kallara in Kottayam District. It is a famous temple dedicated to lord Shiva. Lord Shiva, in a sitting posture, with DeviParvati is the main deity of this temple. Nagayakshi, Rakshas, Brahma Rakshas, Bhadra and Yakshi are the other main deities worshipped here. Mangalya Puja, mrythyunjaya puja, Vishnu puja, aiswarya puja, thalichukoda and Saraswati prayaga are the main offerings. During shivratri and thiruvathira festivals, special pujas are conducted.
