Chottanikkara

Chottanikkara is a beautiful village in Ernakulam District of Kerala. It is around 3 km from Thiruvankulam and 16 km from Ernakulam.

The village is famous for the Chottanikkara Bhagavathi Temple, a highly revered shrine dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. Makom Thozhal is the annual festival celebrated in the month of Kumbham (February/March).

Cochin International Airport (38 km) serves this area. Ernakulam Junction Railway Station is 16 km away. Chottanikkara can be accessed by local taxies and buses from Ernakulam and Tripunithura.
