Chomu is a small town situated in the
Aravalli Ranges near
Jaipur. It was once the hometown of the Amber and Jaipur princedoms as per the Rajputana history.
Amber Fort situated here is one of the major attractions. Chomu has a number of beautiful havelis worth visiting. It also serves as one of the main centers for the supply of tomatoes.
Chomu is on the
Delhi-Jaipur highway (NH 8) and is 36 km from Jaipur.
