A museum in the premises of Besant Theosophical College at Madanapalle in
Chittoor District of
Andhra Pradesh, Chitralaya exhibits sculptures and paintings. The museum also has excellent library and film shows and lectures are conducted after college hours at 1800 hrs.
The museum functions only on college days and the entry is free. Photography is not allowed. Madanapalle is about 70 km northwest of Chittoor town and is the birth place of philosopher and educator Jiddu Krishnamurti.
