Chira Ghat is a sacred place in
Mathura District and is situated on the banks of
Yamuna River. It is about 14 km north of
Vrindavan. This place is associated with
Lord Krishna.
Major point of attraction here is a temple dedicated to the Goddess Katyayani Devi. This temple enshrines the beautiful orange color idol of Goddess, which is about 2.5 feet in height.
