Chinmaya Tapovan Trust is located at
Dharamsala in
Kangra District,
Himachal Pradesh. It was founded by
Swami Chinmayananda. It aims to rehabilitate economically backward women through income generation projects for their self-sustenance.
The trust’s major objectives are the all around development of the displaced persons, tribes and indigenous people. It also aims at rural development, socio-economic development and income and employment generation through development projects.
Chinmaya Rural Primary Health Care and Training Centre is a wing of the trust.
