Children Walking Tall is a registered British charity which is designed to support street and slum children in India by offering food, education and shelter, no matter what their background, religion or circumstance.
Their work includes visits to the slums giving out fruit (vital to encourage health), encouraging education by conducting small schools in the slums and are opening a drop in center/home for the children who need it most in the region.
Children Walking Tall is registered in UK as a charity and India as a trust.
Karaswadda can be found just on the outskirts of Mapusa which is located 13 km north of Panaji, the state capital and is the nearest town to the Tivim train station which has regular trains to and from Mumbai. Children Walking Tall's main center 'The Mango House' is just off the National Highway 17, two minutes walk away from the Vrundavan hospital.
