Chicholi is situated about 11 km north-west of
Tumsar, in
Bhandara District. It is located 17 km north of
Mohadi and around 14 km from Jamb. Khat, on the other side of the border in
Nagpur District, is 33 km south-west.
Chaprala Wildlife Sanctuary, Bhamragarh Wildlife Sanctuary, Bhandara Falls, Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary, Pench National Park, Muktagiri, Kanhen, Ramtek and Ambazari Lake, Sitabuldi Fort and Maharajbagh at Nagpur are interesting one-day excursions from Chicholi.
Sonegaon Airport and Tumsar Road Railway Station serve Chicholi.
