Mizoram. This memorial, connected with a tragic love story, is named after Chhingpui - a young woman of extraordinary beauty.
When it was time for marriage, Chhingpui chose a young man named Kaptuanga and lived happily. But their happy days came to an end when Chhangpui was kidnapped and killed during a war between the rival chiefs. Kaptuanga, unable to bear the loss of his beloved wife, killed himself.
