Cherutazham, a tourist village, is located near
Payyanur town. The place is associated with the former ruler Udayavaraman Kolathiri. Main attraction is an old temple known as Raghavapuram temple. The temple which is also famous as Hanumarambalam was constructed by Udayavaraman Kolathiri. This temple is mainly dedicated to
Lord Ram.
