Chengbon are beautiful baskets made by the tribes of
Manipur for domestic purposes. These baskets are in great demand outside Manipur. This is an unusual type of basket, with a dome shaped lid made of bamboo. These square-shaped baskets which rest on four prominent legs, have checks and squares in black and white painted on them.
