Chemmanda in
Thrissur District and is 5 km from

The shrine of Lord Shiva is on the southern side of the temple complex. The shrine of Hidumban, a disciple of Sage Agastya, is on the south-east corner of the extinct outer prakara. A circular Eka Thala
shrikovil and a pyramidal namaskara mandapa are seen in front of the temple. The inner shrikovil is square and marked by a series of pillars. The sopana bhithi has also carved figures.
Pujas are offered daily in the morning and evening. During Shashti of Vrischigam (November-December), a five-day festival is conducted, which ends with Aarattu. Thaippooyam is celebrated in
Makaram (January-February) and Shashti in Kumbhom(February-March).
