Chemmad is an upcoming town in
Malappuram District of
Kerala. It is the next important trade center after
Tirur, serving the western part of the district.
It is around 20 km north of Tirur. Parappanangadi Railway Station (7 km) is the nearest railhead. Nearest airport is Calicut Airport.
