Chaura Na Poora is a scrumptious pancake eaten in western and southern India. To make it, soaked black-eyed peas are ground in a food processor into a batter and ginger, garlic, green chilies, Chinese parsley, salt, and turmeric are added to it. And then this mixed batter is cooked on a griddle. These spicy, light, and nourishing pancakes are always served with their first side up and eaten with relishes, pickles, chutney, or cooked vegetables.
