Chauli Dam is situated in Chauli area, near the town of Himmatgarh in the
Jhalawar District of
Rajasthan. This earthen dam is constructed for irrigation purpose. The dam consists of 2,565 m long earthen bund with 1,690 m long spillway. With a total catchment area of 222 sq km, it has a live storage capacity of about 42 M.Cum.
