Chaturangapara Mettu is a picnic spot on the Kumily–Munnar route in
Idukki District. It is a resting place for the tourists on their move to
Munnar from
Thekkady. Situated on the Kerala–
Tamil Nadu borders, one can get a spectacular view of the nearby places of Tamil Nadu and the small hills surrounding the vicinity.
The breathtaking view of the endless steep drop adds the beauty of the place.
Chaturangapara Mettu can be reached by traveling 2 km from Chaturangapara near Udumbanchola. One has to walk on foot for about 1 km from Chaturangapara as there is no road.
