Chathapurinathar Temple is a highly revered shrine located at Tirukolakka, a kilometer west of
Chidambaram, in
Cuddalore District of
Tamil Nadu. The temple enshrines Lord Chathapurinathar (
Lord Shiva) along with his consort Osai Kodutha Nayagi as the presiding deity. It is said that Sambandar, Appar, Sundarar had praised the deity in their pathigams. Thousands of devotees visit the shrine every year.
