Chapel of John Bishop lies on the premise of John Bishop Memorial Hospital in
Anantnag,
Jammu and Kashmir. Being the only praying ground for the Christians of the town, it is on the eastern end of the town in Mohalla Sarnal. The chuch was built in 1942. It was constructed in order to meet the needs of protestant Christians of the town and the Christian employees of the John Bishop Memorial Hospital.
By road, the church can be easily approached from Anantnag. Anantnag is 65 km north of Srinagar. The nearest airport is Srinagar Airport.
