Changspa is a charming village, situated 2 km north-west of central
Leh, in
Jammu and Kashmir. This beautiful hamlet houses some of the important Buddhist carvings of 8th and 9th century.
With snowcapped mountains forming the backdrop, the village is dotted with typical Ladakhi houses and gushing streams. Namgyal Tsemo, a typical 15th century monastery, is another attraction.
Changspa also houses some of the best guesthouses of Leh District.
