Chango Temples are located in
Chango,
Kangra District of
Himachal Pradesh. These are three in number, one being the temple of Rinchen Zangpo, the great translator. Nearby is the village temple, the place of regular worship, which has a large prayer wheel, clay idols and wall paintings. The main deity here is a large image of Avalokiteshwara, carved in stone. There is another temple in upper Chango. There are guest rooms, prayer hall and a library near this temple.
