Chandanpur

Chandanpur of Hooghly District lies to the south-east of Tarakeshwar. Nearly 10 km south-east of this town is Kamarkundu. Singur, a taluk headquarters town of the district, also lies to the south-west. Dadpur to the north and Chandannagar to the east are other prominent towns in the neighborhood.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is the closest airport. Chandanpur Railway Station, some 90 km away from Howrah Railway Station, is the nearest railhead.
