The Chandana Yatra Festival is associated with the
Sri Varaha Lakshminarasimha Temple. This temple is located at
Simhachalam in
Visakhapatnam District. The peculiarity of this temple is that the deity is smeared with sandal wood paste throughout the year and only during this festival the devotees are able to view the bare idol.
The festival is celebrated in the month of April with great splendor and religious fervor.
