Chandan Sar is one of the important lakes in the highlands of
Pir Panjal Range. It is situated in the midst of a depression formed by lofty mountains across the nullah to east, in
Rajouri District of
Jammu and Kashmir.
Situated at an altitude of 3600 m, the lake is as big as the
Nandan Sar Lake, which is at a distance of half an hour trekking.
