Chamundi Hills is located about 10 km from
Mysore. The 2000-year-old
Chamundeswari Temple is located right on top of the hill. The
Nandi, a famous monolith with a height of 4.8 m, is located halfway up the hill.
There are also shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, Mahabaleshwar and Vishnu on this hill.
