Champaner Juma Masjid is one of the most astonishing buildings located in
Champaner,
Gujarat. Supported with 172 pillars, the masjid is noted for its beautiful carving with Filgiri art. Champaner is 47 km east of
Vadodara.
The mosque consists of massive minarets rising to 100 ft and five gates, which are remarkable for their architectural beauty. The most distinguished feature is to be seen in three tiers of columns, which rise above the other and support the central dome with beautifully carved balconies between the tiers.
