Chamba Shiva Temple is a tenth century old shrine located on the right side of the Chamba-Jhumaar Road in Shamdhar hillock, overlooking
Chamba of
Himachal Pradesh. The temple, dedicated to
Lord Shiva, is an excellent example of the Shikhara style of architecture. The temple, which was in a dilapidated state, was reconstructed by the Archeological Survey of India when they took over control of the temple. An ancient Chamunda Devi Temple is situated nearby.
Gaggal Dharamsala Airport, Pathankot Railway Station and Chamba Bus Station serve this area.
