Chalni

Chalni is a small town situated in Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 17 km from Jammu, the district headquarters of Jammu District.

Chalni is at a height of about 1,276 ft above sea level and is about 2 km from Parhun. Aitham is to the north, Suruin to the east and Chab to the west of Chalni. Bahu Fort, Dargah Garib Shah, Gadhadharji Temple and Mubarak Mandi Palace are some of the tourist attractions around Chalni.

Regular bus service connects the town with Jammu. Jammu Tawi Railway Station, served by the Northern Railways, is the nearest railway station which links Jammu with Pathankot.
