Chackai

Chackai is a bustling residential area situated between Pettah and Shanghumughom, in Thiruvananthapuram. It is around a kilometer south-west of Pettah and 8 km from East Fort. Sri Chamundi Temple, a 500-year-old shrine, at Karikkakam is a nearby attraction.

The place is along the road from the city center to Trivandrum International Airport. Pettah Railway Station is the closest railhead.
